The two older Bosphorus bridges share the same toll schedule. They are the most affordable crossings in Istanbul.

Major Bridges

The Osmangazi and 1915 Çanakkale bridges are BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) projects with significantly higher tolls than the Bosphorus crossings.

Motorway Tolls

Motorway tolls are distance-based and vary by route, with separate rates for each of the six vehicle classes. A long corridor like the Istanbul-Ankara motorway (O-4, roughly 450 km) accumulates several hundred Turkish Lira in tolls across its toll points. Shorter segments cost proportionally less.

Every rate above is keyed to a vehicle class. The axle counts and wheelbase thresholds that decide your class are covered on the Vehicle classes section of the HGS guide. As a rule of thumb, a rental passenger car is Class 1.

If the class couldn't be determined, the panel shows Unknown.

Important Notes

Rates took effect on 01 January 2026 and include VAT. Bridge rates are taken directly from the official KGM 2026 toll tables. Avrasya Tunnel rates come from the operator's announcement. For the source documents, see the KGM toll tables.
Each crossing is billed separately. Bosphorus bridges have been tolled in both directions since 2022, so a round trip pays twice.
Penalties apply to unpaid tolls. If you pass through a toll point without paying, penalty multipliers kick in after 15 days. For details, read our penalty structure guide.
Base rates are Turkish Lira (TL). Displayed EUR and USD amounts are converted from TRY with TCMB exchange rates cached once per day.
Rates are revised every January. The Turkish government adjusts toll rates at the start of each year based on the official revaluation rate.
